Women in Print Tickets now on sale

13-Jul-2017 In 2017 Women in Print (WiP) will celebrate its 10th year providing a unique forum for women working in the print media industry to expand their networks and, at the same time, learn from some of Australia’s leading businesswomen.

Women in Print are pleased to announce that Bernadette Schwerdt will be presenting at the five-event series around Australia in August.
Bernadette is the director of The Australian School of Copywriting, a training company that helps people become outstanding communicators and writers. Prior to setting up her own business, she was an account director with Young & Rubican Advertising, where she created campaigns for clients such as Apple, Colgate and Australia Post.

She is the host of the online video series, “Secrets of Online Entrepreneurs”, which is currently airing on the Age newspaper website and is the author of a new book of the same name. She also writes for some of Australia’s leading business magazines.

Bernadette also moonlights as an actor and has been seen on our TV screens in iconic shows such as Neighbours, Winners and Losers, Jack Irish, Blue Heelers and many others.

Bernadette will guide attendees on how to be a confident public speaker, creating highly effective presentations, learning how to tell your story and how to influence whenever you speak.

The events will be held:
Western Australia – Tuesday 15th August
South Australia – Thursday 17th August
Victoria – Tuesday 22nd August
New South Wales – Wednesday 23rd August
Queensland – Thursday 24th August

Since its inception Women in Print has attracted a diverse audience comprising women in senior management, sales and marketing through to those working in technical capacities on the shop floor. More than 3000 women have so far participated in the regular events, with recently over 100 attending this year’s PacPrint17 Panel discussion.

In 2017 our major sponsors are IVE Group, Kwik Kopy and Media Super. Please see the Women in Print website for our full list of sponsors, without whom these events would not be possible.
