    Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer and Creative Director, the Industrial Designer would be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Research of the best solution for the clients’ objectives
    • Sketching and renders of concepts
    • Examining materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements
    • Sourcing and Liaising with suppliers
    • Working with other members of the design team when required
    • Evaluating product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical
    • Prototype management
    • Presenting designs and demonstrating prototypes to clients for approval (this is optional)

    ABOUT YOU

    ·       At least 3-4 years of Industrial Design experience, ideally with retail projects

    ·       Understanding of retail environments would be an advantage

    ·       Proactive and self-motivated

Your IT knowledge will assist in resolving simple everyday computer and email challenges.

    Previous experience in a similar role preferred. Position is full time and salary is negotiable.

    We are looking for an experienced person to run several of our computerised engraving routing machines at our Chatswood workshop. We manufacture all types of signage using various materials especially metals and plastics. This is a busy position with an opportunity to show your skills.

    The role

    Our ideal candidate will have:

    • Ability to travel interstate monthly with the potential for overseas travel as required
    • Preferred tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s Degree) in Business, Marketing or Commerce
    • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing related roles, preferably within a B2B Business Environment involving a regional Supply Chain, and Team leadership experience with ambition to progress your career to Business Management into the future.
