Deadline Extended for PICAs

Design, print, finishing and other industry businesses have just weeks to get entries in for this year’s Print Industry Creativity Awards, with entries due to close on Friday, 30 April.

The PICAs, which run in each State, have long celebrated the achievement of excellence in print in all its forms, as well as recognising the people and businesses behind these examples of ‘print perfection’.

Entrants can choose from 32 categories which cover a wide variety of print processes and products, recognise personal and business achievements, and give a nod to the creatives and campaign strategists who create beautiful and successful print pieces. Full details of this year’s categories, together with entry details and forms, can be found at

The state PICAs and the National Print Awards are presented and co-hosted by the Print & Visual Communications Association (PVCA) and Visual Connections. State awards will be held weekly during July, kicking off with SA on Friday 2nd, Victoria on Friday 9th, NSW Friday 16th, Queensland on Friday 23rd and WA on Saturday 31st.

Those who win Gold at the State level are then automatically entered to vie for prestigious national honours, which will this year be recognised at the 38th National Print Awards presentation dinner, held during PacPrint 2021 in Melbourne on Thursday 30 September.
