Pandemic Response: Help is Available30-Jul-2021
Industry businesses have responded impressively to COVID-19, but with recent events reminding us all that the pandemic is far from over it's important to remember that help is available from numerous sources for any businesses which have been impacted.
Firstly, the Government has announced a raft of new business and income support measures to help businesses which have been adversely affected. You can find the latest on these by checking the Government COVID business support web resource at https://business.gov.au/risk-management/emergency-management/coronavirus-information-and-support-for-business
Visual Connections and its members – the industry’s suppliers – also stand ready to support you. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your suppliers if you have any issues, and they will assist in whatever way possible. Just look to the right of this story for the ‘Register for Assistance’ button to download a handy reference list - send your friends and colleagues the link, or tell them to go to www.visualconnections.org.au
Finally, it’s important to look after yourselves and your families, and to keep an eye on your colleagues and friends. If you, or anyone you know, is struggling or finding the current situation particularly challenging, we would encourage you to seek help either through your personal network, your GP, or any of the excellent publicly-available resources listed below.
