Trotec honoured with iF Design Award 2016
11-May-2016 Trotec recently received one of the most prestigious international design awards – the iF Design Award – on the 26th of February 2016 in Munich. The large format laser cutter the SP3000, is one of the winners in the "Product" category.Focus on Usability
The SP3000 represents the biggest of a series of large format industrial laser cutters for processing acrylics, wood or textiles, and features several newly developed technological highlights. Due to the distinct and open design of the V-shaped body, the working area of 2.2 m by 3.2 m is easy to access from all four sides and allows economical loading and unloading even during processing.
"The customer value has the main priority for us when developing a new product. A thoughtful design can make an important contribution: Good usability and superior ergonomics lead to a more efficient workflow and as a consequence more profitability for our customers. The fact that we won the iF award is special to us“, explains Andreas Penz, Managing Director Trotec Laser GmbH.
