Locations: TAS all areas - we come to you. This training is subsidised by the Department of State Growth, Tasmania
Delivery Mode: Workplace based / face to face/ online. With a modern approach to theoretical learning we utilise an integrated online training system that allows ubiquitous access for students to learn via their favourite device. Our assessors regularly visit your work site throughout the year to monitor and assess learning and skills development for the apprentices and trainees. This keeps the apprentice on the job ensuring that the workplace stays productive, avoiding lost time and expense, as with the old school block release system.
Assessment Method: A range of assessment strategies is employed for this training program and the choice of strategy is dependent on the nature of the unit of competency. Strategies include demonstrations, observation, projects, presentations, knowledge tests, reports and interviews.
